Special Olympics is an international
organization dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities
to become physically fit, productive and respected members of society through
sports training and competition. Special Olympics currently serves more
than 1 million persons with intellectual disabilities in more than 200
Programs in more than 150 countries. At MCI, we're a strong supporter of
athletics and are very proud to contribute to this great organization.

titles these days. Many athletes give their best efforts to achieve their best
in the competition.
For over 10 years, Eric Bray has been competing in mountain bike
races throughout the country and has consistently placed in the top rankings.

MCI is also the proud sponsor of an Adult Softball team which
competes at Mills Pond Park in Ft. Lauderdale. Over time, Team MCI has amassed
an impressive record and won several prizes such as the 2000 Playoff
Championship Title (Division III), the 2000 Summer Season Championship Title
(Division III) and the 2000 Summer Season Runner Up Title (Division II).

More recently, Team MCI won the Summer 2004
Brian Piccolo Park Softball championship in Division E. In the fall of 2004 the
team fell just short of the championship, winning the runner-up title instead.
The team, however, recovered quickly and regained the championship this past
spring.
